About the Tonic cover letter template
Tonic gathers a cluster of overlapping bubbles in teal and greens into the top right corner of a white page, the largest cut off by the paper's edges, with a few more on the left edge and at the foot. Your name sits top left in heavy monospaced type, the recipient's address and your contact details face each other on one row beneath it, and the letter runs the full width of the page.
How it is built
- The bubbles use three colours you can change one by one: the teal, a deep green and a bright green, with a pale mint drawn as a tint of the bright green.
- The recipient sits on the left and your phone, e-mail and address are ranged right on the same row, so both addresses read before the letter starts.
- The date and the subject stand on consecutive lines above the greeting, the date in semibold.
