About the Lectern cover letter template
Lectern splits a plain white page into two columns. The narrow left column carries your name stacked over two lines, the first name in semibold, with your job title and a short rule beneath, then your address, phone and e-mail under a Contact Details heading. The letter runs in the wide right column from the top of the page.
How it is built
- The letter starts level with your name rather than under a header, so the whole first page is given to the correspondence.
- Your contact details sit under their own heading as plain lines, with the e-mail underlined so it reads as an address to write to.
- The only mark on the page is the short rule under your job title, drawn in the template colour.
