About the Sash cover letter template
Sash sets your name in tall condensed capitals inside a thin frame across the top of the page. A band in your accent colour crosses the bottom edge of that frame, half in and half out, and carries your phone, e-mail and address in white, each behind a small icon. The letter runs below in a clean sans-serif, and your printed name at the foot picks up the accent and the condensed face of the title.
How it is built
- The contact band sits over the lower edge of the frame rather than inside or under it, which ties the name and the contact together as one header.
- The name is pinned to a condensed display face, so it fills the frame at full width without crowding, whatever font the letter is set in.
- The accent appears only twice: in the band and in the printed name at the close, so the page opens and ends on the same colour.
