About the Quarto cover letter template
Quarto opens on a heavy dark rule across the top of the page. Your name sits under it in bold serif capitals, then your address in small grey capitals, then your phone and e-mail on one line, the e-mail picked out in a link colour. A thinner grey rule closes the header, and the letter runs left-aligned beneath it.
How it is built
- Two rules frame the header: a heavy one above the name and a light one under the contact lines, so the letterhead reads as one ruled block.
- The address has a line of its own in small grey capitals, and the phone and e-mail share the line below it, split by a thin bar.
- The e-mail is the only colour on the page and has its own swatch, so it can match a link colour or the heavy rule.
