About the Regent template
Regent is a two-column resume on a white page. The name runs in bold white capitals across a navy band at the head of the wide column, the band reaching the right edge of the paper over a dark stripe of its own colour. Opposite it, at the head of the narrow column, stands a square box outlined in navy with the initials set large and bold between two short rules, where a photo would otherwise go. Under the box the address, phone and email read as ruled rows, each led by a navy cell holding a white icon. Every heading, a section the writer adds included, is a bold capital label in a plain sans with a thin grey rule the width of its column beneath. The body is a serif: the profile a plain paragraph, the qualifications a dotted list two across, each degree a stack of award, field and school, and each role its title in capitals over an italic line of employer, city and dates behind bars. The languages in the narrow column give a first language as one line and every other a navy bar with its CEFR level. It suits a scientist, an academic or anyone whose qualifications carry the page.
