About the Reel template
Reel is the performer's one-page resume on grey paper. The name opens the page in very large heavy type with the job title centred beneath it, the contact details read as two short columns of plain lines under both, and a headshot in a thin frame sits against the right margin. A thin rule crosses the page under the head and the profile follows it as plain copy with no heading. The sections the writer adds run the full width of the page under the profile, and every line written as Title | Part | Production becomes one row of a table whose columns line up down the list, which is how the film credits read as three aligned columns rather than ragged lines. The two halves beneath carry the stage engagements and the training on the left, each heading in bold title case with no rule, and the special skills and the languages on the right as small tables of a name, a dash and the level in words. It suits an actor, a dancer, a presenter or anyone whose resume is a list of credits rather than a list of duties.
