About the Quill template
Quill opens on a pale wash of the accent across the head of the page with no photograph, the name set in light spaced serif capitals in a deep shade of the accent and the job title in small spaced capitals beneath it. Below, a thin rule in the same wash divides a narrow column from a wide one: the narrow column carries the contact details as plain lines, education, the key skills and interests as plain lists, and the wide column carries the summary and the work experience. Every heading, a section the writer adds included, is the accent in bold spaced serif capitals with no rule beneath. A degree reads as the award and its date in spaced capitals over the school with its city on the line beneath, and a role reads as the title and dates in spaced capitals in the accent over the employer and city, then its description as prose rather than bullets. It suits an attorney, an academic or anyone whose resume is read in full rather than scanned.
