About the Primer template
Primer is the first resume: a white one-column page framed twice, by a dark rounded rule at the paper’s edge and a dashed navy border set in from it, with a navy bookmark reading CV hanging over the top right corner and across the dashed line. The name opens the page in bold navy with the job title in small capitals beneath it, and the address, phone and email follow as three short italic grey lines set a step in. Every heading, a section the writer adds included, is the same bold navy capital label with no rule, and the sections run down one column with room between them. A degree reads its award in bold with the minor after a comma, then the school and its city, then the years in italics; a placement is one bulleted line, the role in bold followed by the school and the dates, with its duties as further bullets under it. The certificates are a bulleted list, the skills a ticked one, and the website reads along the foot in spaced navy capitals, masking the dashed line. On paper every page carries the frame and the foot. It suits a graduate, a student teacher or anyone writing a first resume where the education leads and the experience is a placement.
