About the Mint template

Mint is the plain one-column resume built to be read by an applicant tracking system before a person: a white page with no photo, the name large and bold against the left margin, the contact details ranged right in small type one a line with the phone and email first and the address beneath, and a dark rule under both across the page. The profile follows as plain copy with no heading. Every section after it, one the writer adds included, opens on the same band, its title in bold title case on a pale mint wash of the accent the full width of the page. A role reads in two lines, the employer and city in bold, then the position with its dates in brackets in a lighter grey, then its bullets; a degree as the award and field in bold, then the school and city divided by a bar, then the award date on a line of its own. Skills are one bulleted list, one a line, and nothing on the page is set in colour but the bands. It suits a network administrator, an office administrator or anyone applying through a portal that parses the page before a recruiter opens it.
