About the Marigold template
Marigold is a one-column resume for a school leaver or a first job. The head sits at the top left: the name in bold orange with the title after a bar in a lighter weight, then the town, the phone and the email a line each behind small orange icons. Every section opens on a solid orange band the width of the page with its heading centred in white, a section the writer adds included. The profile reads as justified paragraphs, the skills as a bulleted list two across, and each qualification as a bullet reading the award in bold, the school and the dates on one line, with the grades on the lines beneath. A job reads the same way, the role in bold with the employer and the dates after bars. It suits a GCSE or A-level student applying for an apprenticeship, a Saturday job or a first placement.
