About the Signet cover letter template
Signet opens on a full-width band in your accent colour. Your initials sit in a small outlined frame at its top, like the seal on a letterhead, with your name centred beneath in a bold italic serif. Your contact details follow on one centred line under the band, and the letter runs left-aligned below.
How it is built
- The band runs edge to edge across the top of the page and holds only the seal and the name, both set in a colour that contrasts with the band, so the header reads as one block.
- The seal is a thin outlined frame around your initials rather than a filled badge, which keeps it quiet beside the italic name.
- The contact line sits on the white page just under the band, e-mail first, with the phone and address after it and thin vertical bars between them.
