About the Gloss cover letter template
Gloss sets your letter on a white sheet over a pale grey page, under an accent band that holds your name in large bold type and curves away at its lower corner. The margin to the left names each part of the letter, from your contact details and greeting to each paragraph, the closing and the signature, so a reader sees how it is put together at a glance.
How it is built
- Each margin label sits over a thin accent line that runs to the edge of the sheet and ends in a teardrop pin, level with the middle of the part it names.
- A paragraph you add from the section panel is labelled with its own name, like the four the letter starts with.
- The page and the accent are separate colours, so you can repaint the page around the sheet without touching the band.
