About the Cobalt cover letter template
Cobalt runs a pale sidebar down the left third of the page and caps it with a dark block that holds your name in bold serif capitals, your job title and your contact details. The recipient's details sit in the sidebar under the block, and the letter runs in the wide column beside it down to your signature.
How it is built
- Your email, phone and address sit one to a line in the dark block, each after a small icon, in the block's light ink.
- The greeting and the date share one line at the head of the letter, the greeting on the left and the date on the right, both in bold serif.
- The serif headings sit over a plain sans body, and the sidebar is a faint tint of the block colour, so one colour choice repaints both.
