About the Volt template

Volt is a two-column resume without a photo, set on a near-black page. A yellow plate covers the right of the head, its inner edge dropping steeply from a third of the way across the top and then running at a shallow slope to the right edge, and a second plate rises from the foot of the last page, steep on its left and flattening to the right. The name opens the page on the black in heavy light grey capitals, the first name over the surname, and the phone and email stand on the yellow plate against the right margin behind small dark icons. Every heading, a section the writer adds included, is a thin grey outline icon beside a label in bold yellow capitals with no rule. The left column holds the profile and the work history, each role opening on a small line of spaced capitals with the dates behind a calendar and the city behind a pin, then the title and the employer in bold and a bulleted list. The right column holds the degrees in the same shape, the skills and languages as yellow bars on a faint track, and any section the writer adds.
