About the Rivet template

Rivet is a white one-column serif resume hung on a single thin rail that runs the height of the page a little in from the left edge. The head sits above the rail: a small round photo beside the name in large bold type, then one centred line of contact details, each a bold label after a small disc in the accent. Every section below opens with its own icon on a black disc set on the rail and its heading in the accent beside it, a section the writer adds included; each role and each degree pins a black disc to the rail level with its first line, and a skills list pins one where it begins. A role reads as its title in bold over the employer, then the dates and city on one small grey line, then square bullets; a degree the same way with a GPA line under it. Skills sit three to a row under bars broken into segments, and hobbies are a row of icons in the accent. It suits a graduate or an early-career applicant whose page should read as one timeline from first job to first degree.
