About the Herald template
Herald is a one-column resume with a photo, opened by a banner that hangs from the top edge of the page at the left. The banner is black with its top in steel blue, a round photo in a pale ring sits across the seam between the two, and the name is set beneath it in large white type on two lines with the job title under it, before the banner closes in a point. Beside the banner the profile and the contact lines run down the right half of the page, the phone, the website and the email as plain lines with no icons. Every heading, a section the writer adds included, is set in large bold steel-blue capitals with no rule. Below the head the history runs the width of the page on a thin blue rail with a dot at each role: the dates and the job title in blue sit in a margin beside the rail, and the employer and a short paragraph sit beside them. A blue strip runs along the foot of the page, black at its right end. It suits someone early or mid career in an office role who wants a bold, graphic first page with the history kept easy to scan.
