About the Gazette template

Gazette runs a tinted strip across the top of the page carrying the contact line, sets the name centred beneath it in wide-spaced light capitals, and then rules the page off section by section. Each rule is two-tone: a hairline the full measure of the page with a thicker bar over the label column it starts from. The heading sits in that column and the content runs beside it, so the page reads as one ruled run from the summary down to the last section.

How it is built

  • A tinted strip across the top of the page holding the contact line, centred
  • A two-tone rule opening every section: a full-measure hairline and a thicker bar over the label column
  • Section headings set in the margin with their content beside them
  • The name centred in wide-spaced light capitals under the strip
  • Job rows that run the dates on from the role, with the employer and its city on the line beneath
  • Skills laid out as two bulleted columns across the content measure
