About the Ember template

Ember runs a dark column down the left of the page that starts charcoal behind a full-width portrait and warms to the accent by the foot, with the photograph fading into the column at its lower edge and the name beginning inside that fade in large bold white. The contact details, languages and interests follow in white under small bold headings. The wide column opens with a thick rule of the accent; each role sets its dates, title, employer and city in a narrow left column beside its bullets, with a thin rule between roles, and skills run two to a row as a name over five dots and an underline. It suits a first or second job application that has a good photograph and a volunteer section to show alongside the paid work.
