About the Cedar template
Cedar runs a band of the accent the full width of the head of the page, with the name centred in wide-spaced white capitals and the title in italic capitals beneath it, and no photo. Below it a narrow column on the left ranges everything against the gutter, right-aligned: the contact details with their icons trailing the text, a degree read one fact a line, the school, years and city each on their own, and the skills one a line. The wide column beside it reads from the gutter outward, and every heading in either column, one the writer adds included, is the same bold capitals in dark grey with no rule. A role opens on its title set larger in a normal weight, then the employer in grey, then the dates and city on one line divided by a slash, then its bullets. It suits an engineering director, a senior manager or anyone with a long history who wants one block of colour and a page that stays out of its own way.
