About the Carbon template

Carbon paints the whole page near-black and sets everything on it in a monospace face. A light grey band runs across the head of the page with the name in large bold type at its left, the contact details wrapping beneath it behind small icons, and a round portrait against its right end. Under the band the page splits into two columns of white type: the profile, the work history and the education on the wider left, the skills, the languages, the sections the writer adds and the hobbies on the right. Every heading is the pink accent in bold sentence case with no rule, a section the writer adds included. A role opens on its dates behind a calendar icon and its city behind a pin, then the title and the employer in bold, then a paragraph and bullets; a degree reads the same way. Each skill and each language is a name beside a thin bar filled to its level, the fill ending in a dot like a slider set to the mark, and the hobbies are white icons over their names, three across. It suits a developer, an engineer or anyone whose resume can look like a terminal.
