About the Classic cover letter template

Classic keeps to the conventions a hiring manager reads without noticing: sender block, date, recipient, salutation, body. Nothing on the page competes with the sentences.

How it is built

  • The name sits above a single inline contact line, and a hairline rule closes the block off from the letter body.
  • There is no colour anywhere except the accent you choose, which the layout uses sparingly.
  • Everything is left-aligned on one measure, so the letter prints identically in every mail client and PDF viewer.
